Official Access to the Estate

Residents are reminded that the HOA and Security are legally required to allow authorised officials, such as SAPS, the Sheriff of the Court, City of Tshwane officials and emergency services, to enter the estate when carrying out their lawful duties. Security will verify identification and relevant documentation where applicable. Granting access does not mean the HOA has authorised the visit on behalf of a resident, but rather that it is complying with legal obligations.

Tree Pruning in Parks

Trees contribute greatly to the character and greenery of Irene Farm Villages, and regular pruning is essential to keep them healthy and well managed. As part of the ongoing maintenance of communal parks and open spaces, Garden Creations will continue pruning communal trees.

While we appreciate that fuller trees may provide additional privacy for some residents, responsible pruning is necessary to remove dead growth, maintain tree health and ensure communal areas remain safe and attractive. Wherever possible, the natural appearance of the trees and surrounding properties will be taken into consideration.

Long Park: Removal & Replacement of Trees

To protect the estate’s sewer infrastructure, the HOA will remove the fever trees in Long Park from 18 September to early October 2026. Their aggressive root systems pose a potential risk to the sewer line running through the park. The HOA is exploring suitable indigenous replacement trees and will consult adjoining residents before replanting.

Gardens of the Month – 2090 Essex & 2069 White Hart

Congratulations to the owners of Stand 2069 (White Hart Street) and Stand 2090 (Essex Street), our September Gardens of the Month. Both gardens showcase beautiful waterwise landscaping, combining succulents and flowering plants to create colourful, practical spaces. Hardy, drought-resistant and attractive, succulents remain an excellent choice for gardens suited to our climate.
