August is often a month of anticipation as we look forward to the arrival of spring. It also reminds us that a thriving community is built through the small contributions each of us makes every day.

Save the Date - Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026
The Irene Farm Villages AGM will take place on 14 September 2026 at 18:00 at the Pierre van Ryneveld Community Church, Baltimore Street. Should a quorum not be reached, the meeting will be reconvened on 21 September 2026. Owners are encouraged to attend and participate in discussions that help shape the future of our Estate. Meeting documentation will be distributed closer to the date.

Responsible Pet Ownership
Pets are a valued part of our community, and responsible pet ownership helps keep Irene Farm Villages clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. Residents are reminded to pick up dog waste after their pets and to ensure that dogs are always on a leash and under control when outside their stands, as required by the Estate Rules.
A simple act, like carrying a waste bag on your walk, helps protect our shared spaces and shows consideration for your neighbours.
Who Owns the Pavement
Residents may occasionally notice excavation work on pavements or verges for fibre or other utility installations. These areas generally form part of the municipal road reserve and are not privately owned. Contractors must obtain the required Wayleave approval from the City of Tshwane before any work may commence.
Where valid approval has been granted, the work may proceed, provided contractors comply with estate access procedures, work safely, and restore any disturbed areas afterwards. Residents who are unsure whether work is authorised are welcome to contact the HOA office for assistance.

Homeowners are reminded that the Estate Office must have a copy of their City of Tshwane-approved building plans on file, as required by the Estate Rules. These records help ensure compliance, support future alterations, and maintain accurate property information.

Mpact – Safety First: Firearms and Ammunition Do Not Belong in Household Waste
Mpact Recycling has raised a safety concern after discovering firearm-related items in recyclable bags collected from various estates. Residents are reminded never to put these items in household waste or recycling bags. It should be handed to SAPS or a registered firearms dealer for safe disposal. Let’s work together to keep waste collection and recycling teams safe.
